Q: How do I take the art down?

A: The system used to hang the art makes taking the art down slightly difficult if you do not know what you are doing. Each work of art will have a picture hanging wire across the back which will be hooked inside a sort of small carabiner on a vertical wire. You will need to press down on one side of the carabiner to open it, and continue to hold it open while you lift the picture wire on the backside of the art up and out of the carabiner.

Q: What if I have trouble removing the art on my own?

A: If you have trouble removing the art from the hanging system please don’t try to force it, but rather contact me at unicoherent@gmail.com and I will get you in touch with people who run the building so you can work out a time to meet and take the art down. Likewise, if you are purchasing one of my heavier pieces of art it may be a 2-person job to take the work down. Do the same thing in this case: email me at unicoherent@gmail.com and I will put you in touch with someone who can help you safely (for both your own safety and the safety of the art) remove the work from the hanging system.

Q: Do I NEED to take a work of art home immediately after purchasing it?

A: Absolutely not. If you need to get assistance in taking the art down that won’t happen immediately OR even if you don’t need help but it’s just inconvenient to take the work home the same day you purchase it please write the word “SOLD” in black Sharpie marker across the pricetag so no one else can attempt to buy it in the meantime. You can then bring it home whenever it is actually taken off the wall.

Q: I have looked at some of the other items for sale on your website at https://unicoherent.com and am interested in buying them without paying shipping as well – is this possible?

A: If you can arrange a time to meet me in the morning or early afternoon of Friday April 25th (or possibly the early morning around 8am of Wednesday April 30th) I can create a custom listing for the work that will not charge shipping and I can deliver it to you in person.
